AKTO

A cross-media communication system developed for a series of interdisciplinary cultural events curated by FRU, spanning architecture, performance, contemporary art, and research. The challenge was to create a cohesive yet flexible visual language
that could unify diverse programs without imposing a rigid or overly branded aesthetic.
.
The visual direction avoids cultural pretentiousness and instead embraces a raw, direct tone. Typography and photography function as the primary carriers of meaning, while minimal graphic interventions act as subtle structural devices rather than decorative elements.
The system was designed to feel immediate and accessible, editorial rather than promotional, and contemporary without visual excess.
A consistent typographic hierarchy and restrained compositional logic ensure clarity across formats, while photographic treatments anchor each event in its own atmosphere.
